And here I am 1400 miles away from my Xbox, freaking out about the Rebellion R-One.

Yeah, well when Rebellion comes out with a limousine race car, I’ll get excited.

Lemme call up Oreca, see if they can take an R-One chassis and make a limo tub for it.

Also, the fact that they have zero current Toyota LMP cars in the game makes me even less excited about the LOLa.

It’s not a Lola, that’d be a B12/60. The R-One is an Oreca chassis/tub with a Toyota V8. Infact the Toyota TS040 chassis is also made by Oreca.

I’m waiting for someone to recreate the Black & Gold Lotus livery for it as I prefer it to the red & white one

The old Lola certainly wore the Lotus livery better than the Rebellion livery. Also noticed you shared this to Digital Burnouts. Thanks. Can I get authorship over there?

I don’t have the ability to do that... yet, Car Guy Twingo Tamer did it for me

Hot damn the car pack has the Honda RA300? I might just break down and buy the car pass.

I spent all that time painting up an R18 for the Petit Le Mans race this weekend and now they decide to go and release the car I really wanted to drive? Perfect.

You should now have an invite for authorship :)

Wooo! Accepted. Thanks!

R18’s faster and handles better but I’ve already started on my own R-One (gotta rep the underdogs). Apparently in the game each car has its own individual fuel consumption rate and the R-One isn’t a hybrid so it’ll be interesting to see how they compare...

The R18 definitely handles better, but I think the R-One is faster in terms of top speed slightly. I really want to drive the R-One, but it has absolutely no low speed grip and I already have an R18 ready to go. Oh yeah, I checked the rivals leaderboards for Road Atlanta on P, the times I’m running in test drive are on par with yours...

What times are those, 1:09’s? If so I might have to keep the Audi, have to keep asserting my dominance over plebs like you.
But yeah, the R-One leaves a bit to be desired handling-wise; not sure how to fix it but I’ll have to mess with the tune tonight. It is extremely fast in a straight line so might run it anyways considering we’ll probably be caught up in GT traffic in the corners so the straights will be where we do all the passing.

I’m in the 1:09’s in the Audi. And I only have about 10 practice laps under my belt.
You made a good point about the R-One though. Regardless I’m going with the Audi because dat stability.

Well then... to the tuning shop I go to fix up my R-One.

And I'm here (not actually) playing Forza Horizon 2
